Castrol EP is a mineral base extreme pressure manual transmission fluid containing anti-oxidant, anti-corrosion and anti-foam agents. Castrol EP is formulated in 3 viscosity grades, SAE 80, 90 and 140. Castrol EP range is recommended for automotive manual transmission units and hypoid final drive units where an API GL-4 transmission fluid is specified. The 3 viscosities cover a wide vehicle types and should be chosen in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations.
